Your tasks:

As a working student, you will support the Business Analysis team responsible for our 24/7 Gas Trading product and gain valuable insights into energy trading, product management, and software development. Collaboration with experienced colleagues across several European locations offers a unique opportunity to work in an international business and technology environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing product documentation and knowledge bases, as well as supporting the preparation and follow-up of meetings, workshops, and training sessions. The role also involves tracking action items, milestones, and project deliverables to support the successful execution of projects and strategic initiatives.

In addition, support is provided in creating presentations, reports, and management materials, while contributing to onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities within the team. Exposure to business analysis topics includes assisting with requirements documentation, process modelling, and testing. The position is further enriched by involvement in initiatives aimed at improving team collaboration, modernizing trading systems, and optimizing business processes. After all, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better. We call it: the exchange mindset.

You bring along:

  • Available to work 18–20 hours per week across three days alongside your studies
  • Commitment to join us as a working student for at least three semesters and willingness to work regularly from our office in Leipzig
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities combined with a structured and detail-oriented approach
  • Team-oriented mindset, flexibility, and a proactive attitude towards achieving shared goals
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, Power BI, or similar applications is considered an advantage
  • Strong interest in business analysis, product management, software delivery, or energy markets and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment

Why join us?

  • An attractive hourly wage (15€/h during Bachelor, 16€/h during Master)
  • A good work-life balance thanks to flexible working hours
  • Flexible mobile working arrangements in Germany and abroad (according to our current mobile working abroad agreement for students)
