Real Estate Private Equity Internship – Frankfurt am Main (m/f/d)

Founded in 2019, Dunman Capital is an independent investment and asset manager with €2.1 billion in assets under management. The firm invests across a broad range of real estate asset classes, with a clear focus on complex, value-add projects. These include landmark developments, the repositioning of shopping centres, and the establishment of institutional real estate platforms such as multi-family housing (MFH) and microliving concepts.

As an intern at Dunman Capital, you will work on projects across the entire value chain and gain exposure to large-scale investments as well as some of the most complex projects in the German real estate sector.

Responsibilities

Acquisition and Restructuring

▪ Involvement in acquisition and restructuring processes across multiple asset classes

▪ Preparation of financial models, cash flow analyses, and investment forecasts

▪ Participation in due diligence processes and preparation of investment and IC materials

▪ Research and preparation of decision-making, pitch, and transaction related documentation

▪ Involvement in contract negotiations and transaction execution processes

Strategic Asset Management

▪ Contribution to value-creation initiatives across the existing portfolio

▪ Preparation of business plans, profitability analyses, and scenario calculations

▪ Preparation of asset and portfolio reports and presentations for investors and management

▪ Involvement in leasing, planning, and development activities across active assets

▪ Coordination and interaction with property managers and centre management teams

Qualifications

▪ Prior internship experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking, or a related field

▪ Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to financial or real estate modelling is a plus

▪ Strong interest in real estate investments and finance

▪ Fluency in both German and English, essential for working in an international environment

▪ High level of commitment, strong willingness to learn, and an independent working style

▪ High degree of reliability, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail

▪ Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with openness to new approaches
