In addition to performing fundamental analysis and research into companies and markets, Interns are challenged to think creatively, offer their input, and make valuable contributions to the team from day one. As with everyone at Jefferies, Interns are expected to pursue their projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and with the highest levels of integrity.
Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the execution of M&A and advisory transactions
- Preparing pitchbooks and live deal marketing materials (e.g. teasers, information memorandum and management presentations)
- Participating in due diligence and drafting sessions
- Preparing and delivering client presentations
- Building and using financial model
- Analyzing business plans and valuing companies using a variety of methodologies (e.g. DCF, LBO and multiple based analyses)
- Conducting industry and product research
- Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information

We would like to offer you a 3-month internship in the Investment Banking M&A division, based in our Frankfurt office. Under the wings of the German Investment Banking M&A team, you will have the opportunity to work on high stakes deal situations with sector and product specialists from around the world.

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.
