Do you have a passion for aviation and research? The Boeing Innovation Lab in Frankfurt is focused on addressing new and evolving trends and technologies through ground-breaking innovative ideas. Topics range from future flight operations, cabin and cabin accessibility, Knowledge Engineering, Ontology, autonomy, machine learning applications, and much more. You can contribute by performing your internship in our lab. You will work in an interdisciplinary environment, located in Neu-Isenburg, Germany and connected with stakeholders worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:
Student status
Ability to work well within an international team and to be proactive in shaping ideas and sharing results
Ability to think abstract and to connect your ideas to products and solutions
Enthusiasm and excitement for new projects to shape new ideas
Flexibility and adaptability to handle new and unfamiliar topics
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Existing rights to work in Germany

Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree program requiring a mandatory internship in one of the following areas: Aerospace, Human Factors/Psychology, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, Autonomy, Medical Technology, UI/UX and Machine Learning
German is not required but beneficial
Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Germany. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CURRENT LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IMMEDIATELY IN GERMANY. Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
