What You´ll Build

As a working student in our AI organization, you'll support the team tackling one of AI's critical frontiers: Foundation models for structured data and knowledge graphs. Your hands-on tasks will include:

• Support advancing data privacy for foundation models on structured data – in collaboration with privacy experts
• Evaluate experiments, such as inference attacks aiming to extract information from training data, and assess mitigations
• Investigate memorization capabilities, such as the impact of duplicates and outliers in training data, and memorization-susceptible training settings and parameters
• Adapt experiments from recent papers and apply to our models
• Prepare experiment write-ups that clearly communicate evaluations findings with statistical rigor such as confidence intervals or ablations This is your chance to get hands-on experience in AI development and applied AI research, while exploring how AI innovation shapes the future of enterprise software. Your contributions help ensure that AI innovation in business software is both powerful and trustworthy.
  
  

What You Bring

We are looking for an enrolled Master’s / Bachelor’s student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with studies extending beyond the first half of 2028.

We Expect

• Proficiency in Python for machine learning, e.g., PyTorch and pandas, and basic shell scripting
• Experience with Azure ML or similar cloud-based workspaces
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to quickly grasp new topics and concepts
• Experience with privacy-preserving machine learning, differential privacy, inference attacks, or related concepts is a plus
• Fluency in English
