Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Universal Robots

Are you ready to make a real impact on the world of robotics? At Teradyne Robotics, a division of Teradyne, we are revolutionizing industries through cutting-edge collaborative and autonomous mobile robotic technologies.

As part of our team, you’ll work with global leaders Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), driving innovation that enhances manufacturing, logistics and workplaces across the world.

About The Role

This student worker role focuses on supporting PolyScope X as a platform by helping create clear, useful, and scalable developer documentation for the PolyScope X SDK. You will work across teams to improve how developers get started, build, test, and expand solutions on PolyScope X, while also gaining the opportunity to work with our URCaps framework.

Day to day, you may contribute to areas such as:

  • Working with the PolyScope X SDK platform to understand and support Universal Robots’ broad ecosystem
  • Creating documentation and additional content to continuously improve the developer experience
  • Providing your own ideas to enhance the clarity, structure, and consistency of setup guides, tutorials, URCap samples, how-to articles, and reference content
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and developer-facing teams to collect input and transform technical knowledge into usable documentation
  • Supporting robot demos, testing, and proof of concepts

We believe great work comes from shared knowledge and diverse perspectives. Our team values use-case-driven development, cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous feedback from real users — a feature is only done when it makes a real difference to the people who use it.

About The Environment

You'll join our global Application Engineering team in Munich — an international community working at the forefront of collaborative robotics. Together, we develop innovative solutions to some of the most meaningful manufacturing challenges businesses face today. We foster an inclusive atmosphere where every voice matters, and different perspectives strengthen our work.

The working hours are around 20 hours a week.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates who are building skills in some of the following areas — you don't need to tick every box:

  • You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, for example within engineering, computer science, technical communication, or a related field
  • You are comfortable working with software-related content and are curious about developer tools, SDKs, and robotics
  • Experience with or interest in web development — especially Angular and TypeScript
  • Experience with Markdown, documentation platforms, Git, or software development workflows is an advantage
  • Basic familiarity with Linux, command-line tools, containers, ROS2, and/or PLC programming is a plus
  • You work in a structured way, pay attention to detail, and enjoy collaborating across teams
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken — it is our shared team language

Above all, we value a collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn, and genuine curiosity about how technology can make a difference on the factory fl oor.
