The Role

As our Founders' Associate Intern, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders on the most important challenges in the company. This is not a coffee-fetching internship — you'll own real projects from day one across sales, partnerships, and international expansion. You'll get into rooms with C-level decision-makers at some of the world's largest corporations, help close deals, structure new market entries, and shape how we scale a category-defining marketplace.

What you'll do
  • Drive outbound sales and partnership conversations with senior decision-makers at industrial companies across Europe
  • Help us enter new markets — researching them, building pipelines, and running the first deals yourself
  • Own end-to-end projects: from idea to execution to measurable outcomes
  • Build playbooks, processes, and tools that the next 50 hires will use
  • Sit in on (and contribute to) every important strategic decision

  • Why this is a rare opportunity
    • Direct founder access. No middle layer — you learn how an ambitious startup actually gets built.
    • A genuinely close-knit team: founders and operators from WHU and EBS, plus people who've traded in this market first-hand.
    • Real rooms, real stakes — you'll sit in on meetings with decision-makers from some of the largest corporations in the world.
    • Culture that doesn't stop at 6pm: padel sessions after work and nutritious, self-cooked lunches together.
    • Steep learning curve. Real responsibility, real impact — from week one.
    • Fair, transparent internship pay.
    • A path forward. Outstanding interns are first in line for full-time roles as we scale.

    What we're looking for
    • German at native level (must-have — it's our working language)
    • Fluent English (must-have)
    • Spanish, French, or Italian are a real plus (we're expanding into these markets)
    • On-site in Düsseldorf — this role is about being in the room (must-have)
    • An outgoing, extroverted personality with real drive — you're at your best with people
    • Hungry and biased toward action — you pick up the phone, send the cold email, and figure it out
    • Bonus: prior experience in sales, consulting, VC, or another fast-paced startup

    Logistics
    • Format: Internship
    • Start: flexible
    • Duration: flexible
    • Location: Düsseldorf — on-site (required)
