Working Student for Digital Operations (m/f/d)

What you will do

Machine Learning & Modeling

• Contribute to predictive models for quality performance, machine downtimes, energy consumption or throughput optimization. Assist in prototyping and testing new data-driven use cases within our plant network.
  
  
  

Data Engineering & Automation

• Support the development of scalable data pipelines and data documentation. Work with our global teams to ensure data quality and consistency across plants.
  
  
  

Collaboration with Production & Digital Teams

• Translate business requirements into analytical tasks. Participate in workshops with Production, Engineering, Plant Digital Champions and Process Experts.
  
  
  

Data Preparation & Analytics

• Collect clean, and transform production-related data (e.g., MES, OEE, SAP data, machine and sensor data). Support exploratory analyses and the development of dashboards and reports for global stakeholders.
  
  
  

What you will need

• Enrolled in a degree program such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders in German and English language
• Familiarity with project management tools, collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and potentially data analysis tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to identify and solve problems independently or in a team
• Ability to gather, clean, and analyze data to identify trends and insights (e.g. test data)
• A basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and databases would be beneficial
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes
