Description provided by terra.construct
WerkstudentIn: in Operations & Buchhaltung (all genders)
terra.construct · Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg · Werkstudent:in, 16–20 Std./Woche · Hybrid
Was wir bieten
Working Student – Operations & Accounting (all genders)
terra.construct · Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg · Working Student, 16–20 hrs/week · Hybrid
About terra.construct
We are a general contractor in Berlin, renovating existing residential units, converting attics and delivering new-build projects – with AI-supported processes in sales, project management and communication from day one. The team is small, the projects are real, and we're growing.
As a working student, you'll be one of our first hires and see a company being built from the ground up.
About the role
You keep day-to-day operations running: out on our construction sites and inside our numbers. Part of the job needs you on site in Berlin, the rest can be done remotely and flexibly. You'll work directly with the founder and watch decisions get made – not just see their results.
What you'll do
- On-site operations: join site appointments, document construction progress, coordinate with trades, partners and suppliers
- Preparatory accounting: check and record incoming invoices, manage receipts, prepare payment runs and hand over clean documentation to our tax advisors
- Commercial admin: track quotes and orders, follow up on open items, organise contracts and documents
- Processes & systems: keep our internal tools tidy and help us improve them – including AI-supported workflows
- Everything in between: the things that come up in an early-stage company and need someone to own them
What you bring
- You're currently enrolled at university – e.g. business, economics, real estate or civil engineering. Your way of working matters more to us than your degree.
- Fluent German (C1 or higher) is mandatory – you'll be dealing with trades, public authorities, tax advisors and contract partners in German every day
- You're based in Berlin and can attend on-site appointments regularly
- Structured, reliable and independent – you keep track even when three things are happening at once
- Confident with Excel or Google Sheets; curious about AI tools
- Prior exposure to bookkeeping is a plus, not a requirement – we'll teach you
What we offer
- Pay: €20 per hour
- Hybrid and flexible: we plan on-site appointments together, the rest is yours to schedule – including flexibility around exam periods
- Newly renovated office in Prenzlauer Berg
- Full setup: laptop, software and everything you need to work
- Real insight into real estate operations and building a startup from day one – no coffee-run tasks
- Short paths: small team, direct line to the founder, fast decisions
- Perspective: we want to work with you long term – a permanent role after graduation is very much the plan
How to apply
Send your CV and two or three sentences on why this role fits you to [email protected]. No cover letter needed. If you have questions about the role or the process, just reach out – we're looking forward to meeting you.
