About the team

The Partnerships team at SumUp is on an ambitious journey: increasing its contribution from 10% to 20% of EU net revenue through a high-impact network of partners across acquisition, growth, and business development. Achieving that goal requires operational excellence—and Sales Operations sits at the heart of it all.

From maintaining Salesforce data integrity and producing performance insights to supporting business reviews and managing commission calculations, Sales Operations enables the Partnerships team to operate efficiently, make informed decisions, and stay focused on growth.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced commercial organization. Rather than observing from the sidelines, you'll take ownership of key recurring processes, prepare business performance updates, and play a direct role in helping the team achieve its objectives. If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how high-performing sales organizations operate at scale, this role is an excellent place to start.

What you will do

  • Maintain data accuracy and hygiene across Salesforce and key tracking documents, including the partner deal overview
  • Support the preparation of Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and other business updates, building towards owning first drafts independently
  • Update and manage the ISV Single Source of Truth (SSOT) on a weekly basis
  • Help calculate and track quarterly commission figures for the Partnerships team
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate recurring operational processes

You will be great for this role if…

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including data analysis, reporting, and working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical thinking with a sharp eye for accuracy and detail in data handling
  • Ability to manage and organise information from multiple sources in a clear and structured way
  • Experience or coursework in business analysis, operations, marketing analytics, or a similar field
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with clear and confident communication skills

Why you should join SumUp

  • 🌎 Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Berlin office at Ostbahnhof
  • 🌈 Be part of an inclusive and collaborative environment where different perspectives are valued
  • 🏖️ 28 days of paid leave plus public holidays and special leave days, pro-rated
  • 🚵🏾‍♂️ Access health and well-being support through our Employee Assistance Programme, an Urban Sports Club subsidy, and fitness activities, including on-site gym access, yoga sessions, and team sports
  • 🚆 Benefit from subsidised public transport with the Deutschlandticket, offering unlimited travel on local and regional transport across Germany
  • 🥗 Enjoy partially subsidised office lunches and weekly breakfast
  • 🔗 Receive additional rewards through our employee referral programme when referring talents to join our team
