Description provided by Applause
To support the continued growth of our global sales organization, we are looking for a full-time Sales Intelligence Intern (m/f/x) to join our Sales Analytics & Intelligence team.
About the role:
This is a hands-on, rotational role at the core of how Applause sells. Our Sales Intelligence team runs a structured, multi-stage intelligence pipeline that turns raw market data into qualified, decision-ready insight for sales teams across North America, Europe, Israel, and APAC.
As a generalist intern, you will rotate across every stage of that pipeline — account research and scoring, contact intelligence, solution recommendations, and data quality assurance — building a complete picture of how modern sales intelligence works end to end. You will not be siloed into one task; you will learn the whole engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structured research on prospective customers and score them against our internal qualification framework
- Build and maintain accurate account and contact intelligence using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and AI-assisted research tools
- Keep our internal sales intelligence platform and CRM clean, accurate, and well-organized: including account health, hierarchy, and contact hygiene
- Rotate through each stage of the intelligence pipeline, from initial research to the final quality gate, learning the standards and handoffs at every step
- Apply and uphold a high accuracy bar: our pipeline operates against a strict quality standard, and getting it right matters more than getting it fast
- Interpret and analyze sales and customer data to support decision-making and recommend process improvements
- Keep stakeholders accountable through clear, regular follow-ups
- Continuously look for ways to improve internal processes and increase team efficiency
Foundations (we expect you to already have these):
- Currently studying or recently graduated (e.g. Business, IT, Engineering, Economics, or similar)
- Comfortable and confident working in Google Sheets — sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and keeping structured data clean
- Some hands-on exposure to Salesforce or a similar CRM (data entry, navigation, record hygiene)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or comparable prospecting/research tools
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with genuine attention to detail
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- A quick learner who is teachable and genuinely curious — you have skills on your sleeve, but you are eager to grow them
- Reliable, highly motivated, and detail-oriented; you take ownership of accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Interested in the digital quality, UX research, and software testing space, and how data drives B2B sales
- Curiosity about (or some exposure to) AI-assisted research tools is a strong plus — we use them daily
