Job description

Are you passionate about semiconductors and embedded programming?

We are currently looking for a student in Munich who is eager to apply their theoretical knowledge

in practice by supporting our Microcontroller Customer Application Engineering team. In this role, you will work

alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real-world embedded projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with the NXP MCUXpresso development ecosystem
  • Review technical documentation and suggest improvements
  • Support the creation of technical materials such as presentations and lab guides for specific customer requirements
  • Test software examples and report bugs or issues
  • Perform occasional hardware-related tasks, including soldering and board setup
  • Support power measurements on NXP evaluation boards

Your Qualifications

  • Ongoing enrollment in a relevant technical degree program (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar)
    • Preferably enrolled at the Technical University of Munich
  • Familiarity with integrated development environments such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code
  • Knowledge of embedded programming languages such as C
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems is a plus
  • Passionate about hardware and hands-on engineering
  • Good communication skills in English and German
  • Availability of at least 12 hours per week
