As a Working Student in Strategic Sourcing (Procurement / Purchasing), you will support the team in operational and analytical tasks across the sourcing process. You contribute to preparing data-driven purchasing decisions and ensuring structured supplier coordination. The role combines analysis, system work, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.

YOUR TASKS

  • You support the Strategic Sourcing team in day-to-day operations and gain insights into procurement processes
  • You prepare RFQs, support tendering activities, and assist in award processes within Strategic Sourcing
  • You communicate with suppliers and support the coordination of requests, offers, and feedback
  • You maintain and update data in SAP and related systems to ensure data consistency
  • You conduct price and market analyses to support sourcing and procurement decisions
  • You contribute to the development and improvement of reports as well as Excel and Power BI tools
  • You support the documentation and structuring of sourcing and procurement processes

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a comparable field
  • You have strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and ideally experience with Power BI
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills and quickly understand complex topics
  • You work in a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • You are motivated, flexible, and enjoy working in an international team
  • You are available to work on-site in Hamburg at least 2 days per week
