Department Description & Job Purpose
We are setting up the Accounting, Tax & Treasury function within Allianz Services - a lean, international team shaping its processes and way forward in a global, dynamic environment. As a working student you won’t watch from the sidelines: you’ll get hands-on insight into how a modern finance function is built and run, with real responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly closing and reporting activities e.g. in the accounts reconciliation process with the Local Accounting Officers globally
- Assistance in preparation of financial reports / Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from reporting systems (SAP)
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. plan/prior period) and ad hoc data requests
- Facilitate communication and alignment with local finance teams, including tracking open items and deadlines
- Assist with quality checks and cross-system data consistency reviews
- Support documentation of existing and new processes (e.g., descriptions, process flows)
- Contribute to process optimization & automation initiatives, including testing new tools and identifying manual tasks for automation
- Help prepare materials and documentation for internal/external audits
- Enrollment in a German University (for working student positions) or (for an internship) in a gap year. Student status throughout the duration of the contract.
- You can start in October/November and are interested in a working student position for 6 months- part time (16-20 h/week)
- Enrolled in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or a related field
- Genuine interest in accounting and finance; confident with MS Office, especially Excel
- A structured, reliable and hands-on way of working
- Fluent English; German is a plus
- First experience with SAP or in a finance environment is welcome, but not required

Dank des Werkstudentenprivilegs zahlst du keine Beiträge zur Kranken-, Pflege- und Arbeitslosenversicherung — nur die Rentenversicherung greift. Dir bleibt mehr netto als in einem regulären Job.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
