For work in our laboratories in Mülheim an der Ruhr, we are looking for a Master’s Student (f/m/d) - Electrosynthesis for value-added Products.

The position is available immediately and is initially limited to six months, with the possibility of extension within a follow-up project.

Your task

  • Design and construction of batch or continuous flow setups for electrochemical reactions
  • Performing optimization campaigns with temporary tools (e.g., Design of Experiment, Bayesian Optimization)
  • Exploring structure-activity relationships of small organic molecules in heterogeneous mixtures
  • Information and communication within the project

Your Qualifications

  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or engineering with a focus on (organic) chemistry or chemical engineering
  • Enrollment in a Master’s program at a German university or university of applied sciences is required
  • Preferably relevant work experience in the fields of chemistry
  • Experience in dealing with instrumental analytics, analysis and interpretation of big data sets
  • Teamwork, good communication and presentation skills
