Role Description The Business Development Intern will support HOPn UG in identifying growth opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding market presence across IT services, consulting, e-learning, and events. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, assisting with lead generation campaigns, preparing presentations and proposals, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support outreach initiatives, follow up with prospective clients, and contribute to business development strategies. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication, time management, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment.
Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data, business trends, and performance metrics.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Lead generation and market research skills to identify prospects, segments, and potential partnerships.
  • Customer service skills to support relationship building, respond to inquiries, and maintain a professional client experience.
  • Interest in business development within IT services, consulting, e-learning, or event management; prior internship or project experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or databases) and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
