We are looking for a Working Student to support our Product Management team in translating business requirements into high-quality software.
Level: Junior Location: Berlin
Your role
You support our Product Management team in translating business requirements into high-quality software. Working closely with experienced Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements engineering and backlog management to testing and release validation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn modern product management while contributing to real customer-facing software.

Key responsibilities
Requirements Engineering
· Support the analysis and documentation of business requirements
· Write user stories and acceptance criteria together with Product Management
· Document business processes and workflows
· Help prepare backlog refinement sessions
· Ensure documentation is complete and up to date
Backlog Management
· Maintain and organize the product backlog in Jira
· Track user stories throughout the development process
· Support sprint planning and backlog refinement
· Help maintain visibility on priorities and delivery status
Testing & Quality Assurance
· Create test scenarios and acceptance criteria
· Execute functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
· Validate delivered functionality against requirements
· Document and track defects
· Support release validation
Collaboration
· Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders
· Support continuous improvement of documentation and development processes
· Learn Agile product development in a highly collaborative environment
What you bring:
Experience & Skills
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Economics, or a related field
· Strong analytical and structured thinking
· Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
· Ability to understand complex business processes
· Strong communication skills
· High attention to detail
· Comfortable working independently while asking questions when needed
· Fluent English
Mindset
· Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to problem solving
· Comfortable working in a growing startup environment
· Collaborative and able to work across teams
Nice to Have
· First experience with Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban)
· Experience with Jira or Confluence
· Basic understanding of software development or programming
· Interest in SaaS products and modern software engineering
· Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot or Cursor) is a plus
· Interest in the energy industry
