Job Description

Part time 20 h/week | 17,33€ per hour

You are interested in Talent Acquisition, but you also want to gain a broader understanding of People & Culture work in a dynamic tech scale-up? With us, you can do both!

Immerse yourself in the world of Talent Acquisition and help shape how we attract top talent to Flip. At the same time, you’ll be an integral part of our People Team, supporting us in creating a seamless Employee Journey from A to Z - from data-driven insights and internal events to strategic HR projects.

You will get real responsibility, real projects, and direct collaboration with experienced People professionals, including our SVP People and HRBP. Ownership from day one.

What awaits you with us

Talent Acquisition (approx. 50%+ of your time):

You'll learn how we identify and excite the best talent for Flip and actively shape it yourself:

  • End-to-End Candidate Management: How to own key parts of the recruiting process, from candidate management and interview coordination to running your own screening calls.

  • Job Marketing & Publishing: How to create compelling job postings and coordinate their publication across the most effective channels.

  • Strategic Talent Pooling: How to build, structure, and maintain a sustainable talent pool.

  • Advanced Active Sourcing: How to proactively identify and effectively approach potential candidates via LinkedIn and other channels.

  • Collaborative Sourcing Strategy: How to work closely with the recruiting team to continuously refine and optimize search strategies.

  • HR Tech & Innovation: How to research and leverage new trends and (AI) tools to enhance recruiting efficiency.

  • Data-Driven Recruiting: How to support recruiting reports and track key KPIs to measure success.

People & Culture Projects:

You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern People Team runs and you will learn how great employee experiences are built, measured and scaled.

  • Onboarding Experience: You help us design and deliver a seamless start for new hires, ensuring they have the perfect first day and a structured integration over their first weeks and months with the team.

  • Event Architect: You support the concept and planning of our internal "Flip Events" (e.g., Team & Culture Days). Your presence in the Stuttgart office (at least once a week) is key to bringing these events to life and engaging with the team.

  • Process Automation & Optimization: With a fresh perspective, you create smart workflows, automate manual tasks, and ensure maximum efficiency in our daily operations.

  • HR Analytics: You manage our data quality and transform raw information into insightful HR reports and dashboards to drive data-based decision-making.

  • Brand & Identity: You take charge of our company merch, ensuring every "Flipster" feels connected to our brand and identity.

What you bring to the table

  • You’re currently studying Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, Business Psychology, or a related field and are available for up to 20 hours per week alongside your studies.

  • First experience in HR, Recruiting, or Active Sourcing is a plus - but not a must.

  • Passion for creative ideas and innovative approaches to talent sourcing.

  • Confident in using social networks and comfortable with digital tools and AI.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and empathy to create a positive Employee & Candidate Journey.

  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.

  • Very good command of German and English.

  • Ability and willingness to work from our Stuttgart office at least once a week to collaborate with the team.

What we offer you

  • Work mode: We’re remote-first, giving you flexibility to work from home. At the same time, we deeply value the power of in-person collaboration. Depending on the role, you’ll join occasional team events, workshops, or meetings in our Berlin or Stuttgart offices - always with plenty of notice. The exact balance will be discussed during your interview.

  • Work-Life-Balance: We don't want you to grow roots to your desk chair. That's why we cover the costs of your E-Gym-Wellpass membership and offer job bike leasing.

  • Celebrating success: Expect highly motivated and committed people in a relaxed working atmosphere.

  • Be part of something bigger: You actively shape Flip in your role. Along the way, you are an enabler of the rapid growth process of a young tech company and grow towards your goals, fun is guaranteed.

  • Happy to be a Flipster: Stay tuned for regular team events and culture days that bring us together as Flipsters.

  • Working abroad: At Flip you can also work abroad in the European Union. Let's talk about remote work in the interview.

At Flip, everyone is welcome - no matter what gender you identify as or how old you are. Sexual identity, origin, religion, world view and disabilities do not influence your potential job at Flip. The most important thing is that YOU fit in!

Working student essentials

What this HR working student role in Stuttgart means for you — the weekly-hours rules, social-contribution perks, and what international students should check before applying.

Weekly hours

Working students may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester and full-time during the breaks. Staying within this keeps your student status and the Werkstudent benefits.

Working student rules

Social contributions

Under the Werkstudentenprivileg you're exempt from health, care and unemployment insurance contributions — only pension insurance applies. That leaves more net pay than a regular job.
