Then welcome to Group IT Strategy & IT Management of Allianz Group. We provide CIO communication, steer the IT transformation and prepare the Group IT Strategy in alignment with the Operating Entities of Allianz Group.
We are responsible for Allianz‑wide IT strategy alignment and IT project portfolio steering, including CIO target setting, transformation status reporting to steering bodies, monitoring of IT operational stability, and the governance and scaling of AI and Generative AI use cases across the Group.
How can you make an impact?
- Take ownership of challenging and diverse strategic IT topics while actively supporting day‑to‑day business operations
- Support the team across a wide range of subjects and ad‑hoc requests
- Prepare and design high‑quality presentations for senior management and global meetings
- Create, edit, review, and quality‑assure documents such as communication concepts, business cases, and project or process documentation
- Support project management activities, including meeting coordination, milestone tracking, and event alignment
- Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Allianz AI Chat, Claude) in daily work and contribute to the evaluation of new AI use cases
- Support AI‑related topics by preparing materials for steering committees and governance discussions
- Track progress of AI initiatives and document insights and outcomes for the team
- Research relevant AI tools and trends for IT strategy and proactively share key findings with stakeholders
- Enrolled student in Business IT / Information Systems, Management, Economics, or Computer Science (Master level preferred) with strong academic performance
- Confident user of M365 tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint; Power BI skills are a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with proactive, solution‑oriented and creative thinking
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English; German skills are a plus
- High level of reliability, organization, and ability to deliver high‑quality results under time pressure
- Enthusiasm for technology with a strong interest in IT strategy, transformation, and management topics
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups across different cultures
- Motivation to work in an international and diverse environment
- Basic knowledge of IT frameworks and standards (e.g. ITIL, TOGAF, SAFe) and related tools is a plus
- Prior experience in project management, (IT) consulting, or architecture roles (enterprise, solution, or technical) is an advantage
- Enrollment at a university is required for working student roles (or gap year for internships)
- Valid work and residence permit required for non‑EU citizens (to be checked prior to application)…
- You are enrolled at a university during the contract period
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.

Working students may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester and full-time during the breaks. Staying within this keeps your student status and the Werkstudent benefits.
