Description provided by ABOUT YOU

Company Description

ABOUT YOU is one of Europe’s fastest growing e-commerce companies. Based in Hamburg and Berlin, we operate at the intersection of fashion and technology. Our mission is to rethink online shopping and make it personal and seamless. This takes more than good ideas. It takes people who take initiative and challenge the status quo. We believe in flat hierarchies, direct communication, and pragmatic decisions. No long approval chains. Just ownership, trust, and clear responsibility. We work hard, but we also believe in enjoying the ride together - over team lunches, afterwork drinks, company events, or a quick coffee in between meetings. If this sounds like you, ABOUT YOU could be the right place to bring in your perspective.

Job Description

  • Assist with daily buying operations, including order placement, master data maintenance, article creation in the ERP system, and handling re-orders or returns.
  • Prepare and analyze performance reports, tracking KPIs like sales figures, sell-through rates, stock levels, and racer/bum analyses.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for international brands, processing order confirmations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct market, trend, and competitor analyses while collaborating with Merchandising, Logistics, and Content teams for smooth product onboarding.
  • Hands-on ownership of sub-tasks and an end-to-end look at international fashion buying.
  • A steep learning curve with regular feedback in a young, vibrant, international team featuring flat hierarchies.
  • Networking opportunities at one of Europe's fastest-growing fashion tech companies with a hybrid/flexible work setup.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program, ideally in Business Administration, Fashion Management or a related field.
  • Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel, with a natural comfort handling data and numbers.
  • A structured, detail-oriented work style, strong teamwork, creativity, reliability, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • A massive affinity for fashion, e-commerce, and digital trends.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

Nice To Have

  • Initial experience in the fashion or e commerce industry
