Job Title: Intern (m/f/d) – Sales (Automotive Sector)

Location: Munich, Germany

Type of Employment: Full-time Internship (ideally 6 months)

About the Role:

Are you looking to gain practical experience in the sales department of an automotive company and are you ready to get hands-on in the automotive world? XPENG Austria is building an innovative new mobility brand — and we’re looking for a Student Assistant to support our Sales Operations team as we scale in Austria.

Then you’re in the right place! As an intern (m/f/d) in Sales, you will support our team in managing our retailer clients and handling the day-to-day operations of our vehicle sales processes.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the sales team in reviewing and verifying subsidy applications
  • Work with data, reports, and operational dashboards
  • Maintain and update customer and vehicle data in CRM and ordering systems
  • Create presentations, reports, and market analyses for internal and external use
  • Collaborate with related departments with internal teams, logistics partners and suppliers
  • Help improve processes and support exciting launch projects
  • Provide assistance with daily operations and ongoing projects in the Sales department


Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related field
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry and in sales
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Structured, proactive, hands-on mindset Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
  • Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ideally, some first practical experience in sales or customer-related areas
  • Native German speaker and Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Driver’s license (Class B) is a plus

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
