Student Assistant Marketing*

in Bonn

The position is available starting June 15 or July 1 and is initially limited to one year, with a good prospect of extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Team acquires and manages corporate partners and donors. As a working student, you will support our corporate cooperation team in maintaining existing partnerships and acquiring new ones. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team, have the opportunity to drive your own initiatives, and contribute significantly to financing our project work in 37 countries.

Your responsibilities

  • Administrative support for the team’s day-to-day operations, particularly in data maintenance and recording incoming donations
  • Assistance in the preparation of project proposals and reports, including translating English content into German
  • Support in stakeholder-oriented communication, as well as in creating thank-you letters and other project-related reports from our Welthungerhilfe initiatives
  • Research of company information (e.g. ESG Reporting, reputation) within the partnership building activities
  • Creation of mail merge letters and Excel spreadsheets
  • Assistance with fundraising activities

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled at a university or college
  • You are confident using MS Office applications
  • You demonstrate a strong customer and service orientation
  • You have an excellent writing style and strong communication skills
  • You work independently, in a structured, and results-oriented manner
  • You have very good German skills (at least C1 level) and very good written and spoken English.
