Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Intern at ValvesOnly. The intern will support business growth by identifying potential clients, assisting in lead generation campaigns, and contributing to market research efforts. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market data, tracking competitor activities, and gathering insights to support strategic decisions. The intern will collaborate with sales and customer service teams to follow up on leads, maintain client communication, and help prepare proposals and presentations. The role also involves updating CRM records, preparing reports on business development activities, and supporting process improvements to enhance client engagement and sales efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and an interest in data-driven decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or sales software is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a global team.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Interest in industrial products or manufacturing, especially valves or related equipment, is an advantage.
