As “Intern or Working Student Network Planning (m/f/d)”, you will support the Network Planning team of SunExpress a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines with their task to establish a profitable flight program out of the key airports in Turkey as well as identify further network opportunities to widen the existing portfolio

Tasks

• Improve the existing network based on pre-defined KPIs
• Help develop and establish new routes and destinations
• Support the seasonal flight schedules and capacity plans across the SunExpress network
• Closely aligning with the other members of the network planning team to ensure an optimized network
• Support the development of dashboards, reporting tools and automated processes to increase efficiency and transparency within the network planning team
• Monitor booking development and competitor landscape
• Internal coordination with sales, revenue management, scheduling, marketing, public relations and strategy department
• Project work and preparation of board/decision papers

Requirements

• Compulsory internship within studies of transport, touristic, logistic, economics or other aviation related field
• Previous work experience with an airline and/or tour operator advantageous
• Very good number sense, analytical thinking as well as quick-wittedness and the ability to understand complex issues
• Exceptional understanding and knowledge of the global airline industry with focus on Europe
• Very good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), but Excel in particular
• Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Very good English speaking and writing skills
• German language speaking skill favorable
  
  

As a requirement for applicants:

Internships should have a minimum duration of 6 months. Working student positions would work well as minimum commitment of 12 months.
