Role Description
As a working student with RPX, you take part in simulating freight terminals with our in-house simulation environment. You contribute to client projects and to the continued development of our tools while gaining relevant practical experience.
You implement logistics processes with graphical methods, classic programming and vibe-coding. You analyze data for scenario generation, or code parts of intelligent algorithms that optimize operations.
As part of our team, you will join forces with dedicated consultants who combine their expertise in logistics, technology, and IT to move a global and interconnect industry forward.
You work with us for up to 20 hours per week during the semester; increased working hours during semester breaks would be highly appreciated.
Qualifications
- You have already studied some aspects of the logistics or supply chain industries and have had first programming experiences – or you are coming from a programming background with strong interest in logistics.
- You are eager to experience an industry that is business-driven, competitive and global – and to join a small team of international professionals. Speaking English is a must, proficiency in any other language a plus.
- You are enrolled in a German university program that teaches you the skills you are applying with us – and are willing to meet in Hamburg on occasion.
- You consider yourself dependable, communicative, and motivated to provide client-oriented solutions to complex problems.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
