Our innovative platform combines AI-driven multi-channel attacks with gamified, real-time learning to build resilience where it matters most: the people.

Your mission

As a Founder's Associate Intern, you are part of our Business Operations team, working closely with our Founders and our Chief of Staff. This is not a theoretical strategy role where you polish slide decks or debate long-term vision. It's a hands-on execution role where you turn strategic decisions into reality and get a 360-degree view of what it actually takes to build a company. Your biggest challenge: creating clarity and structure in a fast-moving environment where the financial model, the runway, and investor expectations all need to stay in sync at the same time.

How Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Financial Modeling: You support the development and ongoing maintenance of our financial model: keeping it accurate, flexible, and useful for the decisions we're making right now.
• Tracking & Accounting: You own our financial tracking and work closely with our accounting processes to ensure our books reflect reality and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Runway & Budget Monitoring: You track runway and department-level budget utilization, flag variances early, and give leadership the visibility they need to act with confidence.
• Investor Materials: You contribute to investor communications by preparing reports, KPI dashboards, and data-driven materials that reflect both our performance and our vision.
• Process & Tools: You spot inefficiencies in how we run our financial operations, propose improvements, and introduce tools that bring more structure to how we work.
  
  

Additionally, you'll spot opportunities to improve workflows, introduce effective tools, and bring more structure to how we operate. Expect to be pulled into projects outside your lane on a regular basis, wherever the team needs an extra pair of hands.

Is it you we are looking for?

You...

• Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, with a strong track record of academic excellence.
• Are strong with numbers and have a solid grasp of financial concepts: you're comfortable building and stress-testing models, not just reading them.
• Are biased towards action but know when precision is non-negotiable. You move fast on analysis and slow down when accuracy really matters.
• Are a "no task too small" operator: you're as comfortable cleaning up a messy spreadsheet as you are preparing an investor update, and you bring the same rigor to both.
• Are AI-native: AI tools are a core part of your daily workflow to maximize speed and quality. You pair this with strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, and tools like Notion and Google Slides to communicate your findings clearly.
• Are a fluent communicator in English, spoken and written. German is a plus for working with local finance and accounting stakeholders.

• You've had hands-on experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or a related area — through an internship, a student consulting project, or similar.
• You have exposure to startup finance or VC-backed company dynamics (cap tables, SaaS metrics, burn rate, etc.).
• A track record of side projects, student initiatives, or community work where you actually shipped something.

revel8 is building the next generation of cybersecurity awareness for the age of GenAI. We help organizations protect themselves against modern social engineering attacks by turning their employees into an active line of defense.

It's been a fast ride so far: Founded in August 2024 by Tom and Julius, we moved to the Merantix Campus in Berlin and welcomed Robert as our CTO and co-founder shortly after. We landed our first enterprise customer in March 2025, raised our €5.1M seed round in September 2025, and moved the whole team back to Munich in February 2026. Today, we are around 40 revels working side by side in our new office every day.
