Job Description

About the role:

Join our Retail Media team in Cologne and play an active role in expanding our self-service platform. This position offers the opportunity to contribute strategically while also taking operational ownership — from guiding partners through the onboarding process to optimizing their campaigns for maximum impact.

About your tasks:

  • You handle technical and operational inquiries from our marketplace sellers via our ticketing system – from ad account setup to campaign troubleshooting – and proactively contribute effective solutions.
  • You support sellers in launching Sponsored Products and other marketplace ad formats, monitor budgets, bids and performance, and work with Campaign Management, Ad Tech and Customer Success to continuously optimize results.
  • You prepare seller meetings and onboarding sessions, join the calls, and take ownership of the follow-up activities.
  • You analyze campaign and marketplace data, build performance reports on KPIs such as ROAS, spend and share of voice, and turn them into concrete recommendations that grow our sellers' advertising investments.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You enjoy working with both data and people and bring a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ideally, you have gained initial experience in e-commerce, advertising, or media.
  • You thrive in cross-functional collaboration and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You are fluent in English, enabling you to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. German language skills are a plus.

Additional Information

Your benefits:

To best support your individual needs — whether it’s living a healthy lifestyle, having enough time for yourself, or developing your skills — we offer a wide range of location-specific benefits:

  • Welcome: We want you to feel comfortable from day one. That’s why we provide a comprehensive onboarding program to help you get started.
  • Mental health: Access fast, professional support from nilo psychologists if you ever feel overwhelmed in your personal or professional life — anonymous and free of charge.
  • Home office: If your role does not require you to be on-site, we offer flexible working arrangements — including the option to work from anywhere within the EU for up to 20 days per year.
  • Mobility: We provide our employees with a fully subsidized Germany-wide public transport ticket (Deutschlandticket), which can be used at any time.
