About the Internship
This opportunity is exclusively intended for students whose degree programme requires the completion of a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum).
As a Business Development & Partnerships Intern, you will work closely with the founder and support the identification, development, and coordination of potential partnerships with universities, organizations, companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential universities, organizations, companies, and strategic partners
- Support outreach and communication with prospective partners
- Prepare professional emails, presentations, proposals, and partnership materials
- Maintain organized records of contacts, outreach activities, and follow-ups
- Assist with partnership meetings and prepare meeting notes
- Research market developments and potential growth opportunities
- Support community-building and institutional outreach activities
- Help coordinate collaborations, campaigns, and professional events
- Contribute ideas for improving business development and partnership processes
- Support other business and growth projects where appropriate
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a recognized university in Germany
- The internship must be a mandatory component of your degree programme
- Able to provide university confirmation of the mandatory internship before starting
- Based in Germany; remote work is available
- Excellent written and spoken English
- German and proficiency in one or more additional languages are considered an advantage
- Strong communication, research, and organizational skills
- Professional and reliable approach to external communication
- Interest in business development, partnerships, startups, technology, or international communities
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Previous experience in student organizations, outreach, sales, events, or partnerships is an advantage but not required

Depending on business needs, available vacancies, and individual performance, interns may be considered for future Working Student or other employment opportunities. There is no entitlement to subsequent employment.
Compensation
- This internship is exclusively intended for students completing a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) required by their university degree programme.
- Where the legal requirements for a mandatory internship are fulfilled, the internship is offered without remuneration in accordance with the applicable legal framework.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
Studieren in Deutschland
