You will support the Compliance team in ensuring group-wide compliance, as well as assist the Legal team with their day-to-day legal operations. In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain deep insights into the broad scope of a corporate compliance function and the engaging daily activities of an internal legal department.

Tasks

  • Support the implementation of regulatory projects, such as ensuring compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), and other specific legal frameworks.
  • Assist in coordinating our local compliance units, conducting compliance risk assessments, and screening sanction lists.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal reports, presentations, and group-wide policy management.
  • Conduct thorough legal research across various fields of German, European Union, and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Assist with contract management tasks and contribute to drafting legal documents, contracts, and evaluating legal inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a regular student at a state-recognized university throughout the entire duration of employment, with at least two completed semesters.
  • Initial practical experience through relevant internships, combined with a strong interest in compliance and legal topics.
  • A thorough, independent, and meticulous way of working.
  • An open communication style with the ability to operate successfully in an international environment.
  • A collaborative mindset that allows you to integrate quickly into the team, backed by strong analytical skills and organizational talent.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English.

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
