Programme & Events Intern (Deep Tech)

Company Description INAM – Innovation Network for Advanced Materials – is a collaborative hub where founders, scientists, investors, and corporations connect to bring cutting-edge materials innovations from research into scalable real-world applications. Role Description The Events Management Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of INAM’s events, including startup programmes, conferences, workshops, startup, and networking sessions. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with event logistics, maintaining guest lists, coordinating with speakers and partners, preparing event materials, and supporting on-site setup and registration. The intern will help with event communications, including email campaigns, social media posts, and website updates, and will contribute to post-event follow-up such as feedback collection and reporting. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, with a mix of on-site event support and remote work for planning and coordination tasks.

You are:

• Organised and reliable
• Friendly and confident when communicating with people
• Interested in startups, innovation and technology
• Comfortable managing several tasks simultaneously
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Ideally experienced with tools such as Canva, Eventbrite, Lu.ma Zoom or LinkedIn
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment and collaborate within a small team.
• Interest in innovation, startups, or advanced materials is beneficial, as is prior experience in event support or coordination.
