The Smart Container Program within Hapag-Lloyd's Strategy Office is seeking a motivated working student to join our team. You will play a vital role in shaping Hapag-Lloyd's future by contributing to the development and implementation of our Smart Container strategy. As part of our dynamic team, you will gain valuable insights into the logistics industry and have the chance to make a real impact.

What You´ll Do

  • Assist in performance management and prepare senior management updates and decision papers
  • Support operational improvement teams by planning, steering, and executing smart container data-driven use cases
  • Conduct analyses, derive insights and design solutions for project challenges
  • Work collaboratively with the team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects and contribute to the development and execution of the Smart Container strategy across the organization
  • Engage in internal and external communication to promote the program's objectives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to smart containers
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new use cases for smart container technology
  • Support the team in project management and ensure timely delivery of projects and maintain accurate documentation and records of project activities

What Makes You A Fit

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in Business, Economics, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or a related field
  • Strong academic performance with a passion for learning and a keen interest in the logistics industry
  • Relevant practical experience through internships or working-student positions is preferred, as well as eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to new topics and challenges
  • Confident in using standard Office software, especially PowerPoint and Excel, with a focus on business applications
  • High analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with a structured and organized work approach
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written. German language skills are an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and a willingness to grow together
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to tackle complex challenges, as well as a self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a desire to make a meaningful impact

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
