Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the GTO-FGS-OR2 Finance & Accounting Systems team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (roughly 19 HPW) for 12 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Finance and Accounting Systems Economics.

Our team is responsible for the operation and continuous development of finance systems and works closely with colleagues across Finance and IT. Together, we ensure that processes and systems run reliably and are continuously enhanced to meet evolving business needs.

You can look forward to

  • Supporting Business Analysts at the interface between IT and Group Finance in their day-to-day work
  • Assisting with projects by creating and maintaining project plans and documentation and coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Preparing and following up on meetings, facilitating discussions and producing clear, structured minutes
  • Creating engaging, audience-focused presentations and preparing materials in a clear and effective manner
  • Providing process-related support for software implementations and transport activities, for example within SAP
  • Conducting research on IT trends, regulatory topics and business-related matters

You come equipped with

  • Current advanced-stage studies in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience within the financial services industry or in areas such as IT, accounting, project management or process management
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and confidence working with Excel
  • Proficient user skills in German and English
  • A solid understanding of, or a strong interest in, business processes and commercial principles
  • You enjoy collaborating with different teams, communicate your ideas clearly and effectively and complement your strong communication skills with enthusiasm and motivation for our work
