Hey! Are you a passionate Student Developer with an interest in Mobile App Development, AI, and modern technologies, and you would like to become part of an innovative team bringing the energy transition to cities? At greenventory GmbH in Freiburg, we develop forward-thinking SaaS solutions that visualize energy consumption and renewable energy potential on a digital map. Tasks
- Develop and maintain our mobile applications with a focus on native Android development (Kotlin/Java) and cross-platform solutions using React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Work closely with our design, backend, and AI teams to build seamless and intelligent mobile experiences
- Connect mobile applications with our Python-based backend services using RESTful APIs
- Contribute to the development and integration of AI-powered features, such as chatbots and image recognition functionalities
- Use modern development tools and methodologies to write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in the development process
Requirements
- Hands-on experience or a strong foundational understanding of native Android development (Kotlin/Java)
- Familiarity with React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript) for cross-platform mobile development
- Experience working with Python-based backends (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and connecting applications via RESTful APIs
- Interest and ideally first practical experience in AI and machine learning, including LLMs/chatbots (e.g., OpenAI API) or computer vision for image recognition tasks
- Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and innovative technologies
