We are looking for a curious and hands-on Working Student Fullstack Engineer who is excited to understand real business problems and transform them into thoughtful, reliable software solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with domain experts and product stakeholders to turn business requirements into clear technical concepts and well-structured code. You will not only contribute to implementation, but also learn how to think about system design, make pragmatic technical decisions, and understand how software behaves in production.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to experience the full product development journey: from clarifying requirements, designing frontend interfaces, building backend services, and working with APIs and databases, to learning how applications are deployed, monitored, and improved in production.
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled at a university in Germany in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field.
- Basic experience with one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Express, Spring Boot, or similar.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Ability to balance business requirements with thoughtful technical decisions, focusing on practical product impact.
- Good communication skills in English. German is a strong plus.
- Availability to work on-site in our Berlin office.
Nice to have:
- A GitHub repository, portfolio, or project examples that demonstrate your coding and system design skills.
- Basic understanding of system design and microservices.
- Basic understanding of automation and web crawling.
- Experience working with AI coding agents or modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience from internships, university projects, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
