Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Braun Management

Braun Management specializes in resolving the internal structural issues that stall organizational progress within complex European business systems. We provide leadership teams with evidence-backed analysis and direct pathways to resolve underperformance and clarify decision rights.

The role
In this Data Analytics Internship, you will support a high-priority engagement for a leading German logistics and infrastructure provider. This client is managing a significant portfolio of assets and requires a clearer understanding of operational friction within their supply chain and maintenance departments. Your work will center on translating fragmented data sets into the clear, written narratives our consultants use to inform executive decisions. As a remote member of our analytical team, you will help identify structural truths that are often hidden within large-scale logistics operations.

What you will do
  • Extract and clean data from various logistics and asset management systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify patterns of operational delay or resource allocation issues within the client infrastructure network.
  • Prepare structured reports that summarize data findings for our lead consultants.
  • Assist in the creation of performance models that help clarify accountability across different business units.
  • Maintain internal documentation to ensure our analytical processes are repeatable and transparent.
  • Support the development of basic data visualizations that communicate complex structural problems to executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with the consulting team via asynchronous communication tools to refine analysis based on qualitative client feedback.

What we are looking for
  • A strong foundation in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or basic Python for data manipulation.
  • Interest in the mechanics of complex business systems and how large organizations function.
  • A disciplined approach to data cleaning and verification to ensure total precision in our reporting.
  • Ability to write clearly and logically about technical findings for a non-technical audience.
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment without frequent supervision.
  • Academic background in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with an analytical focus.
  • Willingness to engage with difficult data sets that may be incomplete or messy.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple data tasks within a project timeline.

How we work
Braun Management operates on a 100 percent remote basis. We do not have a physical headquarters. Because we work across various time zones and focus on high-stakes organizational problems, we rely heavily on written communication rather than constant video meetings. We value clarity in writing and expect team members to document their logical steps. This asynchronous style allows for deep focus and ensures that our conclusions are based on rigorous thought rather than a quick conversation. You will have regular check-ins with a mentor, but you are given the autonomy to manage your own output.

What we offer
This is a paid internship offering a compensation package that is competitive for the European consulting market. You will receive hands-on experience working on a substantial project for a major logistics provider, gaining insights into restructuring and organizational design. We provide a stipend for your remote home setup to ensure you have what you need to work effectively. As we are a fully remote team, you will also benefit from a flexible work schedule that prioritizes results over specific hours spent at a desk. You will be paired with an experienced consultant who will provide feedback and support throughout the internship.
Your contributions in this role will help the logistics and infrastructure provider see through the noise of their daily operations. By providing accurate and well-organized data, you enable our consultants to have the hard conversations necessary for structural change. The evidence you uncover will form the bedrock of the written path forward we provide to our clients. This work ensures that when leadership makes a decision, it is based on the structural reality of their organization.
