What You'll Do
What You’ll Do
As a Working Student – Talent Acquisition (Regional Sourcing, EMESA), you’ll be part of BCG’s Experienced Hire recruiting team and support our Central Europe sourcing efforts within a highly international environment.
You will work closely with experienced recruiters and sourcing specialists to identify and engage top talent, contribute to data-driven recruiting strategies, and gain hands-on exposure to how hiring works at one of the world’s leading consulting firms.
This is a great opportunity to build practical recruiting and market intelligence skills, work with modern sourcing tools, and contribute to impactful hiring initiatives across the EMESA region.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support active sourcing efforts Identify and approach high-potential candidates (e.g., via LinkedIn and other platforms), helping build strong and diverse talent pipelines for Central Europe.
- Conduct market research & talent mapping Analyze target markets, companies, and talent pools to provide insights that inform our sourcing and hiring strategies.
- Maintain and improve our ATS (Applicant Tracking System) Ensure high-quality, structured, and up-to-date candidate data—laying the foundation for data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to data analysis & reporting Prepare reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, translating recruiting data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with a global team Work closely with recruiters and sourcing experts across EMESA, gaining exposure to international hiring practices and cross-regional collaboration.
- Support ongoing TA projects & initiatives Get involved in regional and global Talent Acquisition projects (e.g., process improvements, tool optimization, employer branding initiatives).
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience Help maintain a professional, timely, and high-quality interaction with candidates throughout the sourcing process.
You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Business, Social Sciences, Humanities or similar)
- First experience in recruiting, HR, research, or a fast-paced business environment is a plus
- Strong interest in talent acquisition, sourcing, and market intelligence
- Excellent German and English communication skills (written & spoken)
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical thinking combined with a hands-on mindset
- High attention to detail and a structured way of working
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in an international team
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end sourcing and recruiting
- Exposure to international hiring strategy and consulting environments
- Development of analytical, research, and stakeholder management skills
- A steep learning curve in a collaborative, high-performing team
You’ll collaborate with BCG’s EMESA Experienced Hire Talent Acquisition team, a diverse group of recruiting and sourcing professionals working across Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa—closely partnering with business leaders to shape the firm’s future talent.
