Closely integrated into the Beiersdorf family, we work with internal stakeholders on eye level to deliver maximum value. The Finance Services Europe Team is responsible for the financial accounting of all European Beiersdorf entities. This includes month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local regulations and IFRS, as well as General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payments, Accounts Receivable, and all other areas required to provide comprehensive accounting services. In addition, the team supports global master data maintenance and participates in local and international projects.

Working within SSC Global Finance Services provides broad exposure to shared service operations and accounting processes in SAP. The ongoing digital transformation of our finance organization offers numerous opportunities to optimize and further automate processes using state-of-the-art technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), enabling the practical application and expansion of existing knowledge.

  • Execution of operational accounting activities within a Shared Service Center environment
  • Support on month-end closing activities
  • Recording and processing of accounting transactions
  • Collection and analysis of operational accounting process metrics
  • Support in the standardization, optimization, and automation of finance and accounting processes

Your Profile

  • You are ideally studying business administration or a comparable field of study
  • Properly enrolled during the entire time as a student
  • Strong numerical skills and sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy working with IT systems
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Structured, careful and independent way of working
  • Already gained first Shared Services experiences, SAP knowledge or other accounting softwares
  • Communication skills in English is a must have and another eurpoean languages (e.g. Polish, Italian, Romanian) are an advantage
  • Some of the work must be done on-site in line with the company regulations
