Your Responsibilities
- Curate and integrate datasets: ingest third-party and in-house data, convert formats, standardize, normalize
- Run quality checks on incoming and processed datasets, automated and manual
- Build automations for recurring pipeline tasks, including experimenting with LLM/VLM APIs as building blocks
- Generate insights into our datasets: distributions, coverage gaps, statistics
- Support data collection by teleoperating our office robots, and collaborate with ML, robotics, and annotation stakeholders
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (or higher) in CS, Robotics, ML, Data Science, or a related field
- Solid Python skills, comfortable with the usual stack: pandas, numpy, fastapi, torch
- Comfortable working in Linux
- Hands-on ML experience
- Robotics fundamentals: familiarity with the ecosystem and common building blocks (you don't need all of these, show us what you know):
- Robotics dataset formats and tooling (LeRobot, MCAP, rosbag, HDF5)
- Sensor data basics (cameras, IMUs, joint states, point clouds)
- Coordinate frames, transforms, and time synchronization
- ROS / ROS 2
- Genuine interest in data and statistics
- Curiosity about LLMs/VLMs and using their APIs to solve real problems
- A hands-on mentality to dig into messy data
- Work with a world-class team in a flat hierarchy, with direct collaboration alongside the founders and engineering team
