As working student within combat software design perimeter you will:
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge demonstration and technology projects
- Develop and maintain drivers for embedded systems
- Work with real-time software in safety-critical environments
- Explore Ethernet and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technologies for use in avionics
- Support integration of software components in real-world demonstrations
- Passion for real-time operating systems and real-time software development
- Curiosity about virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)
- Interest in avionics standards such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
- Openness to CI/CD Methodologies and modern development workflows
- Team player with good communication skills
- English Language skills (professional level), second language (French / German) would be a plus

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Tech in Manching für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
