In order to support the Aerodynamics department, Airbus Operations is looking for an
Intern within Aerodynamics applied Numerical Simulation and Analysis (d/f/m)
You are a full time student, looking for an internship and would like to apply and expand CFD skills and support numerical aerodynamic analysis in our team? Then apply now! We are looking forward to you joining us as an intern (d/f/m) at the Aerodynamics department (35 hours/week, flex-time).
Location: Bremen
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 3 - 6 months
As an intern you support the Aerodynamics team in the validation and industrialisation of a novel meshing tool and next generation CFD solver.

- Preparation of meshes for CFD.
- Generating the numerical flow solution.
- Creation and documentation of new best practices.
- Both qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpretation of the results will be required. This will allow you to develop and expand your aerodynamic knowledge, while working in a dynamic and transnational environment.
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar field of study
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and basic programming skills
- A basic understanding of Aerodynamics
- First experience in setting up and running CFD
- Deeper knowledge in meshing for CFD would be a plus
- Deeper knowledge on RANS solvers would be a plus
- English: fluent
- Basics in German are a plus
