Job Description

Synthflow AI is an enterprise AI agent platform that unifies customer operations across voice, chat, and messaging. Our agents handle routine interactions at scale so teams can focus on high-value work.

  • Over 20M hours of operations automated
  • 60% more calls answered vs. non-AI operators
  • 150M interactions handled, 99.99% uptime

Backed by Accel, Atlantic Labs, and Singular. Trusted by 1,000+ customers. Recognized as one of the most promising companies in Germany.

About The Role

Synthflow is building the infrastructure layer for enterprise voice AI. As we scale, the systems, processes, and data that power our product team need to scale with us.

We’re looking for a Product Operations Intern to support the product team across tooling, analytics, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Design, gaining hands-on experience in how a fast-growing AI company builds and ships products at scale.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to break into product, operations, or tech from a related background and learn how high-performing product teams operate.

What You’ll Do

  • Help maintain and improve the product team’s tooling stack, including Linear, Notion, PostHog, and related workflows
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reports that track product usage, feature adoption, and key business metrics
  • Assist with release management processes, including changelog updates and internal communications
  • Help keep roadmaps, tickets, and project documentation organized and up to date
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize customer feedback from Customer Success, Sales, and user research initiatives
  • Document processes, meeting notes, and best practices to improve team efficiency
  • Support onboarding materials and maintain internal knowledge bases
  • Assist with operational, analytical, and cross-functional projects across the product organization

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, customer success, consulting, business analysis, project coordination, startups, or a similar problem-solving environment (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to structure information, spot patterns, and turn data into actionable insights
  • AI-literate and excited to leverage modern AI tools to improve workflows, productivity, and decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn how products are built and scaled in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Nice to have: familiarity with tools such as Notion, Linear, Jira, PostHog, or Airtable, and basic experience with data analysis, SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or automation tools

Founded in Berlin in 2023 by serial entrepreneurs Albert Astabatsyan, Hakob Astabatsyan, and Sassun Mirzakhan-Saky, Synthflow AI democratizes access to advanced voice AI with a no-code platform that lets enterprises easily create, deploy and scale natural-sounding, cost-effective voice agents tailored to their business needs.

Working student essentials

What this Operations internship in Berlin means for you: the pay rules, the social contributions, and what international students should check before applying.

Weekly hours

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Working student rules

Social contributions

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
