Our Procurement team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU!

Your responsibilities

  • The Uniper Procurement team will take over responsibility for sourcing services related to European decommissioning activities for nuclear power plants
  • The thesis should analyze the key success factors for building strong business partner relationships in this context
  • It should compare the supply markets for nuclear and conventional decommissioning services
  • In addition, the thesis should explore how industrial standards can be applied to increase efficiency and enable cost reductions
    • Definition of boundary conditions, requirements and qualification criteria of potential suppliers and service providers within the nuclear D&D business (basis for an Approved Suppliers List (conventional suppliers) and Qualified Suppliers List (nuclear suppliers))
    • Identification of national specific nuclear requirements and its possibility to transfer internationally within Europe
    • Identification of specific suppliers for targeted suppliers and services (e.g. steel contractions, tool supply (Sondermaschinenbau), site execution, D&D operation)

How to join the team

  • Currently enrolled as a Master’s student in Business Administration, Economics or arelated field
  • Strong analytical skills and quick familiarization with complex topics
  • Ideally knowledge about or experience in Procurement processes
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills, ideally first experience in creating evaluation models
  • Solution-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken) required
