Based in Gilching, you’ll work hands-on with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, following an agile and practical approach to innovation. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help accelerate the development process and deliver impactful solutions.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
- Assemble and build drone prototypes based on engineering specifications and design files.
- Install and integrate hardware components such as sensors, motors, and avionics into prototype systems.
- Perform soldering and wiring for electronic components.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing tools and equipment, including CNC machines, 3D printers and hand tools.
- Conduct functional tests on prototypes to verify performance and identify issues.
- Support iterative design improvements and collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and refine prototypes.
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- Experience in building, assembling, and troubleshooting various types of drones or model aircraft.
- Strong hands-on skills in assembling and integrating electronic and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and prototyping processes, including machining, basic fabrication, and 3D printing.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality throughout the prototyping process.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
