Job Description

Start date: 15.11.2026

Duration: 12 - 24 months

Working hours: 20h per week, 37,5h possible in the lecture free period

In the Communication & Activation Global Own Brand team, you will be responsible for increasing the Own Brands visibility across countries, channels, and touchpoints.

What you can expect:

  • You will follow up the development of the global communication packages and the tracking of the OB performance in countries.
  • You will support the Own Brand Communication Manager in designing and implementing sales & activation materials for key Own Brands (METRO Chef, METRO Professional, Rioba, Fine Life)
  • You will coordinate marketing activities with external service providers (agencies, photographers), as well be part of internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales Force, Digital team)
  • You will work together with SoMe team for the content preparation of the different digital channels
  • Ongoing support of countries’ Own Brand teams

Qualifications

  • Thinks outside the box, relishes brainstorming innovative communication strategies, and enjoys crafting engaging content for the brand portfolio.
  • Knowledge of different communication methods and related customer behaviors, especially on digital touchpoints (SoMe and Websites)
  • Thrives in international environments and fosters seamless collaboration within cross-functional teams
  • Good with project management and communication with different internal/external stakeholders.
  • Structured way of working self independently.
  • Fluent in English¸ enabling effective communication and collaboration
