Your responsibilities in detail:
- Gain practical experience by contributing to the development of the Lufthansa Group’s fleet strategy and supporting key strategic planning
- Participate in the analysis and identification of future aircraft requirements
- Contribute to the planning, modeling, and evaluation of various fleet scenarios
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to monitor trends and developments
- Assist in addressing current strategic topics and preparing analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for top management
- Participating in regular working sessions, meetings, and workshops, while actively contributing to discussions and decision-making processes
- Support the development of recommendations and decision-making frameworks for fleet management and strategic planning initiatives
Requirements
- At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
- You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with your application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
- You have a bachelor’s degree in economics (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering, aviation management), a STEM field, or a comparable program
- You are passionate about aviation and have already studied the field in depth
- You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, quick comprehension, and a strong willingness to communicate
