Betonwerk Woehe & Heydemann is a family-run manufacturer of concrete terrace slabs based in Kummerfeld, just north-west of Hamburg. The company was founded on 1 April 1961 by Herbert Woehe and Günter Heydemann in Pinneberg with two employees and a first run of exposed-aggregate slabs, and moved to its current Auweg site in 1966. Gunter Bock joined as partner and managing director in 1976, and the plant has been expanded steadily since, most recently with new printing technology behind the Dekor-NanoLine range. The product range covers six terrace-slab lines in wood, concrete and natural-stone looks, in formats from 40x40 cm up to 120x120 cm, plus pavers, climate bricks, walls, steps and care products. Many are supplied with a factory-applied impregnation or coating. Products reach customers through roughly 634 specialist dealers across Germany and through the company's own online shop, and there is an Ideengarten showroom on site for in-person consultation. Design and sustainability both carry weight here. The company won a German Design Award in 2020 for Excellent Product Design in Gardening and Outdoor Living, and its ZeroLine slab, produced with around 50 percent less CO2 than a conventional one, won again in 2026. The business employs between 51 and 200 people and is registered at Amtsgericht Pinneberg under HRA 4051.
