Our Loan Syndicate team plays a crucial role in originating, structuring, and executing syndicated loan transactions – often in an event-driven or acquisition-related context – for our corporate clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Come to ING Wholesale Banking and make the difference when it comes to structuring, underwriting, documenting, and distributing syndicated loans.

Your Tasks

  • You love solving analytical brain teasers and throw yourself into the analyses of market trends and pricing research.
  • You prepare pitch books and put your insights into comparable analyses and market presentations.
  • You take over responsibility in our daily business by preparing underwriting memos as well as pricing advice notes and assist with transaction execution and closing processes.
  • You closely cooperate with colleagues from other local and international departments, such as coverage, lending, global capital markets, and corporate finance.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in Bachelor / Master or in the gap year between Bachelor and Master studies
  • High quality standards with an attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, plan ahead and prioritise competing demands on time
  • Proactive team player with an international and inclusive mindset
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, fluency in German is strongly preferred
  • Willingness to contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow
  • Strong preference for a 6-month internship, however, shorter terms will also be considered. (Only applications that include a specific period of availability can be considered.)

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
