The Securitization & Asset Based Solutions Group within Advisory & Financing Solutions offers UniCredit’s global clients (corporates and financial institutions) and UniCredit Group itself ways to obtain a cost-efficient and flexible form of secured financing, transfer risk & capital relief and optimize working capital. This is achieved through asset backed securities (ABS), structured asset purchase programmes and other asset based financing solutions based, among others, on trade-, loan-, lease-and Buy Now Pay Later receivables or inventories like car rental fleets, which are originated and executed by the team globally in collaboration with other key stakeholders.

What you can expect from us

  • Support in the origination, pitching and structuring of securitisation transactions across a broad range of industries, including restructuring of existing deals
  • Support in setting up internal reporting and monitoring tools for new securitisation transactions
  • Support in the analysis of historical portfolio data using internal (rating) models and portfolio analysis
  • Active use of AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to support transaction analyses, research, data evaluation and preparation of client materials
  • Gain insights into the structuring process and collaborate with various stakeholders, including originators, law firms and various bank internal departments
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of AI-supported reporting, monitoring and workflow solutions within the securitisation business

What we expect from you

  • Studies in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, with a special focus on Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or AI
  • Affinity for data-driven problem solving and working with large datasets
  • Strong interest and first practical experience with AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar solutions), willingness to actively leverage them in daily work and identify opportunities for process automation & efficiency improvements
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Target-oriented and structured way of working
  • Solid communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Affinity for working with clients
  • Motivation to succeed in a challenging and global business environment

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
