To support our growing team in Munich, we are looking for a:

What to expect:

As part of our Capital Formation team, you will gain comprehensive insights into the areas of Investor Relations, Fundraising, and PE Performance Analysis:

  • Investor Research & Fundraising: Identification and profiling of potential investors (institutional investors, family offices, fund-of-funds); support in creating and refining pitch decks, marketing materials, and fund updates.
  • Due Diligence & Documentation: Preparation of DD responses and support with updating the company DDQ as well as fundraising-related legal processes and data room management.
  • Cross over with Investment Team: Creation of investment slides, track record files, and detailed metrics to support investor due diligence.
  • CRM & Communication: Maintenance and updating of the investor database (e.g. Pipedrive), follow-up of contacts and meetings, support with newsletters, email campaigns, and financial reporting.
  • Analysis & Projects: Analysis of fundraising trends, PE market developments, and competitor activities; benchmarking and performance comparisons; participation in ad-hoc analyses, special projects, and internal reports.
  • Events & Roadshows: Support in planning and executing investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.

Was Du mitbringst:

Your profile:

  • Advanced or completed studies in economics, finance, business administration, or a comparable field; other fields of study will be considered with relevant experience.
  • Strong interest in private equity, capital markets, and institutional fundraising, ideally combined with initial practical experience through internships in PE, investment banking, consulting, or investor relations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking talent—you can manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities efficiently.
  • Confident use of MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Preqin, PitchBook, or CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Weekly hours

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Working student rules

Social contributions

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
