Die Überwindung von Hunger und Fehlernährung sind zentrale globale Herausforderungen. Die deutsche Entwicklungszusammenarbeit fördert die Transformation der Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme in den Partnerländern des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) hin zu mehr Widerstandskraft⁠, Nachhaltigkeit, Gesundheit und Geschlechtergerechtigkeit.

Die Arbeitsbereiche des Sektorvorhabens Ernährungssicherung und Fischerei umfassen die Beratung und fachliche Unterstützung des Auftraggebers, die fachlich-konzeptionelle Arbeit innerhalb der GIZ, die Kooperation mit GIZ-Programmen in Partnerländern, Kooperationen auf EU-Ebene, sowie die Verankerung von Ernährungssicherung, inkl.
